How to Submit a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you are a copyright owner or authorized to act for one, your notice must include all of the following (per 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3)):
- Your contact information: full name, postal address, phone number, and email.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed (e.g., title, where the original appears online, and registration number if any).
- Identification of the material on printablecoloringkids.com you claim is infringing, with enough detail to locate it (full URL(s) on our site).
- A good-faith statement that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- Two statements (include verbatim or substantially similar):
“I have a good-faith belief that the disputed use of the copyrighted material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.”
“I swear, under penalty of perjury, that the information in this notice is accurate and that I am the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.” - Your signature (physical or electronic; typing your full legal name is acceptable for email).

What Happens After We Receive a Notice
- We review the submission for completeness.
- If valid, we may remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material.
- We notify the user who posted the material (if identifiable) and may share your notice with them (excluding non-essential personal info).
- Where appropriate, we may restrict or terminate access for repeat infringers.
How to Submit a Counter-Notice
If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice that includes (per 17 U.S.C. §512(g)(3)):
- Your contact information: full name, postal address, phone number, and email.
- Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and the URL where it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your consent to jurisdiction:
“I consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which my address is located, or if outside the United States, I consent to the jurisdiction of the courts in [Your chosen U.S. venue—e.g., Delaware or New York], and will accept service of process from the person who provided the DMCA notice or their agent.” - Your signature (physical or electronic; typing your full legal name is acceptable for email).

Restoration timeline: If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may restore the material in 10–14 business days unless the original complainant informs us that they filed a court action seeking to restrain you from the allegedly infringing activity.
Repeat Infringer Policy
In accordance with the DMCA and applicable laws, we may restrict or terminate site access for users who are determined to be repeat infringers. We also reserve the right to remove content at our discretion.
Misrepresentations
Under 17 U.S.C. §512(f), any person who knowingly misrepresents that material or activity is infringing—or that it was removed by mistake or misidentification—may be liable for damages (including costs and attorneys’ fees). Please ensure your claims are accurate.
Trademark or Other Complaints
For trademark concerns or other rights (e.g., privacy/publicity), email [email protected] with details and URLs. These matters are not handled under the DMCA, but we will review them.
